How do I set up rules around failed payments?

Have a protocol in place for when a customer’s payment for their recurring subscription order fails.

Within the Smartrr app, navigate to Transaction Settings under CONFIGURATION in the left-hand menu:

 

 

Under the Failed Payments heading, you’re able to define a rule for your storefront that says how many times you’d like to re-bill a customer if their initial payment fails. You’re also able to define the interval before the transaction is retried and the number of retry attempts. If retried payments are still unsuccessful, Smartrr has the ability to to cancel a customer’s subscription after a certain number of attempts.
